AMD ha anunciado hace unos minutos que desde hace un tiempo lleva una strategia dedicada a todos sus clientes en las que se les crea un chip a medida de las necesidades de la compañía. Según cuentan, Sony y su nueva Playstation 4 son las primeras en beneficiarse de dichas estrategias.

El alto rendimiento heredado de AMD, las estratégicas inversiones en propiedades intelectuales, y la metodología de diseño flexible de SOC permiten soluciones específicas para los clientes únicas en su género.
La nueva plataforma de Sony llegará a finales de este año en varios territorios, se desconoce si entre ellos será también el Europeo.
