El primer Monster Hunter en alta definición para Playstation 3 como era de esperar, se ha situado en el primer puesto encabezando las listas de ventas japonesas en su primera semana. Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD ha conseguido vender 287.829 unidades.
Según los datos oficiales de Media Create, PSP y PS3 reinan gran parte de la lista de esta semana en el apartado software con titulos como Black Rock Shooter para PSP, seguidos de otras franquicias más conocidas como Gundam, Samurai Warriors y Dynasty Warriors.
