Cada año vienen concedidos por parte de Sony en Japón los Playstation Awards, que premia los títulos de las consolas Playstation que más han vendido y los preferidos por el público. Los datos de venta se refieren solo al territorio japonés.
Este año solo ha sido entregada una estatuilla de platino, que premia los juegos que han vendido más de un millón de unidades, y el premio ha sido para Final Fantasy XIII, el último capítulo de la saga de Square-Enix.
Ahora paso a darles la entera lista de los premiados.
Las estatuas de oro, que se otorgan a los títulos que han vendido más de 500.000 copias han sido para:
- Phantasy Star Portable 2 (Sega)
- Monster Hunter Freedom Unite – PSP the Best reprint (Capcom)
- Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep (Square Enix)
- God Eater (Namco Bandai)
- Yakuza 4 (Sega)
- Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage (Tecmo Koei)
- Metal Gear solid: Peace Walker (Konami)
- Monster Hunter Diary: Poka Poka Felyne Village (Capcom)
Los User Choice Award, que son otorgados a los juegos preferidos por el público han sido para:
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (Square Enix / Activision)
- Final Fantasy XIII (Square Enix)
- Monster Hunter Freedom Unite – PSP the Best reprint (Capcom)
- Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition (Capcom)

Griffinskato: En fin, la única sorpresa ha sido ver Modern Warfare 2, ya que, como todos sabemos, los japoneses no aman mucho los FPS, pero parece que las cosas están cambiando.

Que raro es ver al MW2 porque es del 2009 al menos que la version japonesa fue lanzada este año.
Si hubiera salido antes God of War: Ghost of Sparta saldria en esta lista, ahora quiero la version Europea y Americana de este PS Awards! xD
