PES 2012 contará con la estrella del Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo como imagen de su nuevo episodio tras apostar el año pasado por Lionel Messi, del F.C. Barcelona, el extremo del Real Madrid será el protagonista de la campaña publicitaria de la entrega de este año, y también quien aparecerá en la carátula del videojuego.
"La noticia de que Cristiano Ronaldo será la nueva cara de PES 2012 llega como anticipo de la edición que alcanzará nuevas cotas de realismo y capacidad de control, con importantes novedades como el sistema de control Teammate –con el que los usuarios podrán provocar las carreras y desmarques de dos jugadores al mismo tiempo–, así como el nuevo sistema de inteligencia artificial ActiveAI, que asegurará la creación de espacios y el soporte constante de todo el equipo, no sólo en las jugadas de ataque, sino también en labores defensivas", declara Konami.
